Suma Root Powder - Energy!!

Suma root, also known as Para Todo (For All Things) is called "Brazilian Ginseng" by some herbalists and is one of the most highly regarded South American herbs. While not a true member of the Panax ginseng family, it is an authentic adaptogenic herb, and as such exerts a normalizing influence on your body and can help regulate and enhance your endocrine, nervous, digestive, cardiovascular and immune systems.

South American Natives have used Suma for centuries to treat wounds, skin rashes, low energy and sexual disinterest. The overall effect is to give you an increased resistance to stress while having a cell-building and regenerating effect. It also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate chronic and acute pain.

Suma root is also quite valuable nutritionally as it contains essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and trace elements. Researchers have identified 152 chemical constituents in the root, including 19 amino acids, electrolytic and trace minerals such as iron, magnesium, cobalt, silica and zinc, as well as vitamins A, B-1, B-2, E, K and pantothenic acid. It contains high amounts of the trace element germanium, which is a powerful immune stimulator. The germanium may be partly responsible for Suma's powerful ability to bring more oxygen to the cells.

Suma root is becoming quite popular because of its high content of several palnt hormones. It is considered one of the richest sources of B-Ecdysterone, a plant hormone that can help maintain your youth and strength. B-Ecdysterone can also accelerate wound healing , along with allantoin (comfrey also contains allantoin), a known cellular rebuilder that is present in this plant. Research in Brazil, Japan and the United States has found unique natural substances in Suma called pfaffosides which are believed to regulate blood sugar levels. Suma helps regulate blood pressure, cholesterol, hormones (especially estrogen) and acid-base balance. You can benefit by using Suma root as a healing agent, tonic or aphrodisiac.

Animals

Don't you just love animals? I mean where else could you find a living breathing creature who just adores you for no reason. They're amazing! My cat its so cute, she's just the living breathing reincarnation of love, she will start to purr as soon as you pick her up. I wish people could take a page from animals, and try to be more understanding and unconditionally loving :)

Are you a Cougar in your 30's or 40's? lol

LONDON (Reuters) – Sales of sultry lingerie among older women are booming in Britain thanks to the glamorous 40-somethings of "Sex and the City 2" and "Cougar Town," retail chain Debenhams reported on Thursday.

The hit TV show, and forthcoming movie, featuring the bedroom antics of women in their 40s and 50s and their much younger partners, is being credited with a rise in demand for lingerie from women of the same age, Debenhams said.

The department store said a nationwide analysis of the most popular lingerie styles from October 2009 to April 2010, revealed that women over 40 have given the more seductive side of the lingerie industry a big boost.

"Positive female role models in this age group such as the women in the Sex and the City movies and Courteney Cox in TV's Cougar Town are giving the women confidence to splash out on themselves," Debenhams head lingerie buyer Annette Warburton said in a statement.

Women over 40 were rediscovering their figures, often after having children or getting divorced.

Previously, the store said, the main purchasers of cleavage-enhancing bras, basques, thongs, stockings and suspenders, have been women in their early 20s.

"With women's 40s being touted as the new 20s, and lingerie designers stepping up to the mark to feed this demand, it's a market we expect to see grow further in the future," Warburton said.

Barbeque Tofu picture

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (tub) firm or extra firm tofu
  • 1 jar of vegan BBQ sauce

Directions:

This recipe is fast and easy to prepare. It is good sliced and added
to veggies or put on vegan bread for lunches. It is a little spicey, so some
kids may not like it.

Prehead the oven to 300. Slice the tofu the long way to make slabs. Cover the bottom
of a pan with 1/4 inch of sauce. Put the tofu on top. Cover
the tofu with sauce. Just make sure the tofu is covered. Put it in the oven and cook for about 2 hours. If you like your tofu very firm, cook longer. Turn once in a while

Enjoy!

Salmon with Cucumber-Dill Cream NapoleonsThis is so good, I've made it a few times, you'll love it

Salmon with Cucumber-Dill Cream Napoleons
Ingredients
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed OR 1 tablespoon dried dill weed, crushed
1/2 of a 17.3-ounce package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet), thawed
1 3/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (Regular, Natural GoodnessTM or Certified Organic)
1/4 cup Chablis or other dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 salmon fillets, 1-inch thick (about 1 1/2 pounds)
Directions
Heat the oven to 400°F. Stir the sour cream, cucumber and 2 tablespoons dill weed in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.

Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry sheet into 3 strips along the fold marks. Cut each strip into 2 rectangles. Place the pastry rectangles onto a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown. Let the pastries cool on the baking sheet on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Split each pastry into 2 layers, making 12 layers in all.

Heat the broth, wine, black pepper and remaining dill weed in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat to a boil. Add the fish to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Spread 1 tablespoon sour cream mixture on each of 6 bottom pastry layers. Top each with 1 fillet fish, 1 tablespoon sour cream mixture and a top pastry layer. Discard the broth mixture. Serve the Napoleons with the remaining sour cream mixture.

Dijon Salad Dressing

This recipe I learned to make in France, in the rolling hills of Provence. It's delicious! When you make the lettuce also put cold cooked asparagus, or broccoli in it, mmmm

It's all done to taste, so just take a dollop of strong dijon mustard, and whisk a bit of balsamic vinegar in it. Add a pinch of salt, and pepper, still whisking pour a equal amount of extra virgin olive oil it until it is the desired strength you want. Bon Appetite!

Sandra

Okay, so this is a very sad situation for Sandra Bullock, but is anyone really surprised? A. He's a biker dude, and so not her type. B. They're celebrities. Enough said, let her get on with her life and find a new man

Jersey Shore

Okay, I am completely and utterly appalled at the fact that MTV would offer someone 1/2 a million dollars to have a child. That is a horrible reason to bring a life into the world, money? How low can they stoop for ratings?

Jennifer Aniston

Okay, so do you think she's actually going out with hottie Gerarld Butler? Thoughts? She seems kind of shy about the whole matter
